Food Preservation Workshop

Would you use an owner’s manual from a Model T to try to fix your car today? Of course not. The same goes for preserving foods today. Great Grandma’s recipe may not be the safest way to preserve nature’s bounty. The Marion County WVU Extension Office offers instruction in up-to-date, research-based recommendations for achieving safe, high-quality preserved food at home using the three main methods of food preservation (canning, freezing, drying).

There are no workshops scheduled at this time.
