4-H Programs in Marion County

Local 4-H Clubs

Marion County has 10 4-H clubs in the following communities: Barrackville, Cross Roads, Eldora, Fairview, Mannington, Metz, Monongah, Plum Run, Rock Lake, and Winfield. If you interested in joining a 4-H club, contact Tina Cowger at the Marion County Extension Office.

Teen Leaders

Teen Leaders is a program where teens have the opportunity to develop advanced leadership abilities through a variety of real-life leadership roles.

4-H Camps

Marion County offers a week-long camp for youth ages 9 – 21 and a one day at camp for Cloverbuds.

Cloverbuds

Cloverbuds is a program for youth 5 – 8 years of age. Children experience 4-H through fun, hands-on activities that relate to the 4-H project areas.

Energy Express

Energy Express is an award winning, six-week summer reading program that offers two nutritious meals a day. In Marion County, we currently offer one Energy Express summer reading site at the Rivesville Head Start.

Marion County 4-H / FFA Livestock Program

The Marion County 4-H / FFA Livestock Program is available to any youth involved in the Marion County 4-H or FFA programs.
